Functions of Wildlife Secretariat Staff

The core staff of NIWS shall consist of the following positions:

1. Executive Director – responsible for the overall management of the organization.
2. Finance Director – responsible for financial management of the organization.
3. Finance Clerk – assist Finance Director in his duties.
4. Kitikmeot Liaison Officer – responsible for Kitikmeot HTOs and basic operations of the Kitikmeot Regional Wildlife Board, based in Kugluktuk.
5. Kivalliq Liaison Officer – responsible for Kivalliq HTOs and basic operations of the Kivalliq Wildlife Board, based in Rankin Inlet.
6. Qikiqtaaluk Liaison Officer – responsible for South Baffin HTOs and basic operations of the QWB, based in Iqaluit.
7. Qikiqtaaluk Regional Coordinator – responsible for North Baffin HTOs and basic operations of the QWB, based in Hall Beach.
